Andr Rieu writes: As a child I had only to hear these magical words and I would find myself transported to the land of fairy-tales. I would dream of a beautiful princess with long, golden curls and myself as the prince waiting to carry her off on his white horse, away to his castle. Fairy-tales even the word is magical, and even for us adults it calls up a world in which you can float away on romantic dreams. I let this be my inspiration for this new CD. Together with my wife Marjorie, I have searched out the most beautiful fairy-tale music for you from all over the world. So come with me to Fairy-tale Land, gently close your eyes and dream of princes and princesses, shimmering castles in the sky and strange and wonderful things.
