Protecting Your Financial Information
When purchasing from us, your sensitive information (such as credit card details) is encrypted and protected using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
SSL is a set of rules followed by computers connected to the Internet, including:
• encryption, which guards against eavesdropping;
• data integrity, which assures that your communications aren't tampered with during transmission; and
• authentication, which verifies that the party actually receiving your communication is who it claims to be.
We run 128/256 bit SSL encryption provided by Comodo, one of the industry leaders in encryption technology. By rolling over the bottom right corner of any page, you can also see that they have independently verified us as a Secure and Authentic Site with identity assured for up to US $10,000.
While on a secure page, such as our Secure Checkout, two things happen to indicate that your order information is being encrypted to prevent the decoding of that information by anyone other than us:
• the lock icon on your Web browser becomes locked; and
• the page address (URL) will change from http to https, to let you know you are in a secure area.
Your financial data is then temporarily passed through our secure servers with encryption, and is automatically deleted again as soon as payment is confirmed with your bank. Your credit card information is NOT stored on our internet servers, and is NOT accessible by any of our employees.

Protecting Your Personal Information
Any information that you provide to us (eg names and email address) will be used only to process your order and to send you special offers. We will NEVER share, rent, lend, or sell this information to any 3rd parties, unless required to by law.
Members who no longer wish to receive our promotional materials may easily opt-out by replying to ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line in the email or email us at sales@funplanet.com.au. We will always honour any request not to receive any further communications from us.
Protecting Your Site Usage Data
We routinely collect general website traffic information (eg how many people visit the site, most popular pages etc) for us to provide you with the best shopping experience. This information (including IP addresses) is collected into aggregate results for us to analyse trends and administer the site, and is never linked to personally identifiable information.
Cookies
For your convenience, we use a "cookie" system for our website. A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on a customer's machine which lets our site store information, making our site easier to use. For example, you would not need to log in a password more than once on a visit, thereby saving time while on our site. You can reject a cookie and still use the site, with the only drawback being limited functionality in some areas of our site such as Your Wishlist.
Cookies do not contain any sensitive personal data and credit card information is NEVER stored in the cookie. |
